What I Do

I provide governance and advisory support on technology strategy and adoption.

AI and advanced technology are changing what organisations can do. I help boards understand what’s possible, weigh the risks, and make decisions that serve their organisation’s purpose. My focus is on where technology can make a useful difference and what it will take to make it work.

My experience includes guiding many businesses through growth and transformation, and working in disaster recovery and national inquiries. As a trustee at Zealandia, I’m leading our work on technology governance.

Storytelling is an essential leadership skill: it helps people connect with the mission and gives them a reason to get behind it.

Through Storytelling for Leaders, Jo Fitzgerald and I help leaders and teams shape stories that get people moving together. We work on how to tell the story of where you’re going and bring others with you through difficult times.

Our workshops draw on experience across disaster recovery, public service, technology businesses, and creative development. They’re lively and interactive, with practical techniques you can apply to your own work and a dash of Kiwi humour.
